You have the night shift at a hospital that should have been demolished years ago. Your job is simple: keep the power on until 6 AM. Nobody explained what happens if you don't.

THE DOCTOR

• He stalks the wards. You never know how close he is until you hear him.

• He opens doors. He listens at corners. He remembers where he last saw you.

• He uses the lift, the same one you do, and he will follow you between floors. He knows where you feel safe. He knows the generator keeps you there. When he drains it, you have no choice but to leave the security office and face the dark. Stay behind the door, and he will keep coming until it gives way.

• Hide, and he searches.

• Run, and he follows.

• There is nothing to fight him with. Only the hope that he doesn't find you.

AND SOMETHING ELSE

Lights die that no breaker can bring back. Doors ease open in empty corridors. Footsteps cross rooms you can see are empty. Not every sound is him. Something else is moving through the hospital. And it has learned how to lie.

KEEP IT BURNING

The generator is your clock, your light, and your only leverage.

• Ration the power : The grid cannot carry the whole hospital. Choose which wings stay lit and which ones you walk through in the dark.

• Feed the tank : Fuel canisters are scattered throughout the building. Every trip means leaving the security office.

• Watch the cameras : Track the Doctor between wings via CCTV cameras, but don't forget that the generator is still draining.

• Reset the breakers : Safety is rented. When the power fails, the only way to buy it back is to leave the office and enter the dark.

• Use the lift : The elevator can get you to the generator, but you are not the only one who can use it.

Every night gets harder. By the fifth, there is very little room for mistakes.

ABOUT THIS VERSION

MadMan originally released in 2022. It wasn't good enough. This is not a patch.

Over the past year, the game has been rebuilt from the ground up with new AI, new systems, a new hospital, new audio and a completely reworked gameplay experience.

If you own the original 2022 version, this rebuilt version is already yours at no additional cost.
